Thanks for a great time! Getaways is definitely a first class retreat. It’s such an easy drive from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it’s so different from anything we have found in our area. It’s a perfect location because it is so close to Winnipeg, but so remote at the same time. It’s such a gorgeous, relaxing atmosphere that it was hard to go back to the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you Neil & Susan, ourselves parents of 2 little ones enjoyed our stay. Everything in the cabin was beautiful, very impressive. Down to the little heart stickers on the toilet paper and paper towel rolls. The cabin wowed us with its cleanliness and design. I don’t know the last time the two of us have felt so relaxed and just been able to enjoy each others company. Everyone needs a little time out in their lives…we will go home feeling refreshed and relaxed. One of the things people say is when they go on vacation they need a vacation for their vacation. Not when you come to Getaways! Being only 45 minutes from our home and the relaxed atmosphere, we will go home and be relaxed. What you have here is perfect! It is like getting the best massage ever!!!

Pamper each other in our jacuzzi tub and make it a night to remember with this assortment of bathing goodies. This basket includes scented candles, bubble bath and various bath accessories.

For those that need to relax and unwind, Getaways Romantic Retreat provides the perfect environment with private adults only secluded cabins!

While staying at Getaways, there are many activities that will suit a wide range of individuals. During the warmer seasons, enjoy a scenic stroll through our network of walking trails.

During winter months, we offer snowshoeing trails. Groomed Cross Country ski trails are a 5 minute drive away. Snowmobiler’s welcome. Check out our Snowmobiler’s Special!

There is always a wide variety of local wildlife and plant life are waiting to be seen.

The Perfect Romantic Resort

Getaways is a truly unique experience. We are a small romantic resort offering only two cabins. Although we are close to Beausejour, our location is very private with no one around for more than 1/2 a mile. The cabins are surrounded by 150 wooded acres.
